Dr. Reitz grew up on a farm in Michigan. After receiving her DVM from Michigan State University, she moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she worked at a feline exclusive practice for eight years. In addition to practicing medicine, she has taught elementary, highschool and college  science classes. Her professional interests include internal medicine, behavioral medicine, feline medicine, and acupuncture. She is fear free level 3 elite and cat friendly certified. Her nonhuman companions include two cats, Dennis and Molly, two cockatiels names Copper and Tellurium (chemical symbols CuTe), a pacman frog names Dorian, and a milk snake named Phyl. She enjoys spending time with her family, nature, science, and the beach.
